QftWo 10/21-10/27: Imposters #13 - The Best Man Holiday

A most unusual call is The Best Man Holiday. The title does not really give a lot to work with. And it doesn't name any of the cast, even though the actors are clearly solid choices.

Seriously: Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Taye Diggs, Morris Chestnut, Nia Long, Harold Perrineau, Monica Calhoun, Regina Hall, and Melissa De Sousa. These is an assembled group most movies would be quite proud to boast. So the complete lack of information about the movie or identification of the players is... pretty freaking unusual.

I respect the image and its overall composition. I appreciate that they're all sort of in vignettes, or one large collected vignette. What I like most of all is that they're not all looking straight into the camera or mostly into the camera (see the Elysium poster for a bigtime example of that)... And I also approve of the color scheme.

However, I can't get over learning nothing beyond the film's name and release date. It makes for a really weird poster. I keep expecting to see hidden messages in it, or that this is a Jim Jarmusch film or something...
